Mission Trip to The Hands and Feet project, Haiti 2009

Super-fun and super-artsy engagement fall portrait session. We began our shoot on the grounds of the historical George Eastman House on East Avenue in Rochester, NY; beautiful gardens and wonderful staircases and columns. We threw on our walking shoes and headed down University Avenue, through Art Walk and around the corner to our last but not least destination that day--the Village Gate. We walked through all the lovely smells of the many restaurants there and back to the colorful graffiti wall. There was a definite November chill in the air that day, but we made it through and the images turned out gorgeous ! : ]

We began our Family portrait session in Durand Eastman Park on yet another peek fall foliage day. Wonderful. A rainbow of color. This family was a lot of fun. The children enjoyed picking up acorns and leaves. We ended our session at Durand Eastman Park Beach...we even got to take a few special 10th anniversary shots while the children were busy playing in the sand :]

It was a great peek Fall Foliage day in Rochester, NY this past October. I met Jane and Sam Huang at The Bausch & Lomb Riverside Park on the campus of the University of Rochester. Sam is a dentist at the University ans wanted to encompass some of the local landscape into their portrait session. The session was a treat to Jane and Sam for their 6oth birthdays ! Jane and Sam were the cutest couple. I did not want to leave them for my next portrait session. It was a gorgeous day along the river. Perfect :]

This is my fave image from my assistant at this wedding; thus far. It was taken at Gates Wesleyan Church on Long Pond Rd. This image is of the groom's brother praying over the bride and groom. A special moment. I like the image in chocolate...the image is filled with so much emotion, and I think that color could've taken away from that. I have yet to view all the images he took. It's kinda like Christmas morning editing images I have never seen before, fun. Thanks for being an awesome assistant Alex ! The was held at Gates Wesleyan Church on the west side of town. The ceremony was officiated by the grooms brother which was pretty awesome. After portraits at the altar the wedding party headed down the road to Greece Canal park in their white Hummer limousine for some fun fall portraits on the canal and throughout the park. The Limo driver was anxious to get out the The Green Lantern Inn on the east side for the reception. We had plenty of time for portraits at the park and even got some great shots just before sunset in the village of Fairport at the Inn. Congratulations Paul & Alisa ! Enjoy : ]
